The Long Point AED unit is now located between the two sheds near the tennis courts in a protective hard case. Note that when the unit is removed from the case, a GPS tracker is enabled. In addition, there is a 911 button that can be pushed to reach a 911 operator.

You may be surprised to learn that Long Point has its very own railroad. Mind you, it’s too small for any of us to ride on it. It’s in the basement of the Budd cottage at 74 Maple Avenue!

The speed limit on Long Point is 40km/h. Please drive carefully and be aware that pedestrians and cyclists of all ages are users of Long Point's roads.

There have been numerous sightings of black bears on and around the point. Be mindful of keeping your properties free of items that have an odour. This includes not only securing your food and garbage, but also items such as toothpaste, soap, lotions, deodorant or bug sprays (especially citronella).
